Post pregnancy yoga also known as Post-partum/Post-natal yoga is the practice of going back to yoga post-delivery (after the prescribed rest period as suggested by the doctors) to reconnect to your body & soul. Many women suffer from post-partum depression due to hormonal changes & the sudden responsibility of motherhood, the dependency of a new born baby. Post pregnancy yoga not only helps in shedding the excess weight (gained during pregnancy) but also ensures mental wellbeing of the new mother.
