Power yoga is a combination of Ashtanga yoga &Vinyasa yoga. It focuses on developing strength & increasing flexibility by a vigorous practice of different postures synchronised with regulated breathing. Power yoga basically follows the ashtanga yoga postures but not with the same rigidity. Power yoga gives the teacher the liberty of teaching the postures in any order. This is the most popular type of yoga especially with the youth; people have started practising power yoga in gyms promoting it as a major work out option.
